LMO Legal & Business Consulting Group, PLLC (“Firm” or “We”) respects your privacy. Please read this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) carefully as it describes our privacy practices, including the types of information we may collect from you and/or that you may provide, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by us (and/or third parties acting with our authorization and on our behalf):
· when you visit, access and use www.lmoconsultinggroup.com and/or any other website, application and/or other interactive services and products you also use that are offered and operated by Firm including any content, functionality and services offered on or through any of the foregoing (collectively, “Site”);
· in email, text, and other electronic messages between you and the Site;
· through mobile and desktop applications you download from the Site, which provide dedicated non-browser-based interaction between you and the Site;
· when you interact with our social media accounts and applications on third-party websites and services;
· applies to outreach, informational, and marketing emails we send as well as to our interactions with our clients and potential clients; and/or
· anywhere else that this Privacy Policy is linked.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information:
· collected by a third party including through any application or content that may link to or be accessible from or on the Site; and/or
· which is collected by services and/or features which state that they are offered under a different privacy policy.
1. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It
We collect several types of information from and about users of the Site depending on your interaction with us, including information:
· by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, or any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information”)
· that is about you but individually does not identify you; and/or
· about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Site, and usage details.
We collect this information:
· directly from you when you provide it to us;
· automatically as you navigate through and/or interact with the Site (information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies); and/or
· from third parties, for example, this might include our clients, social media websites and/or other third party services, your advisors and/or other users of the Site.
We combine information we obtain from different sources with publicly available information.
2. Information You Provide
The information you provide to us directly may include:
· information that you provide by filling in forms on the Site and/or you include when you communicate with us, including via email, when you respond to our communications, information provided at the time of registering for services made available via the Site and/or otherwise from Firm including, without limitation, registering for webinars or events, subscribing to the Firm’s newsletters, alerts, blogs, and/or other materials or content;
· information you provide when you contact us, when you report a problem with our Site, in connection with a copyright or privacy related inquiry and/or any other request;
· records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses and other information you provide), if you contact us for any reason;
· your responses and feedback to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes;
· information that you provide when you send, receive, or engage in communications through the Site (e.g., when you apply for jobs and/or respond for inquiries related to jobs);
· information that you provide to us while contacting us through the Site;
· details of transactions you carry out through our Site and of the fulfillment of those transactions; and/or
· information you provide in the course of our representation of you and/or your company.
Please note that certain of this information may be collected by external third parties on our behalf. For example, the Firm does not itself collect or store payment card information and therefore, if applicable, would use a third party payment processor when you engage in a transaction on the Site. You may also choose to provide or submit information via other methods including: (i) through your interactions with us via social media sites or other similar services, including posts, photos, videos and messages, etc.; (ii) content, materials and information you make available on message boards, forums, bulletin boards, and other interactive features, services or products made available via the Site; and/or in connection with an actual or potential attorney-client relationship with us.

4. How We Use Your Information
We only use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, for our legal and legitimate interests, such as:
· Transactional Purposes:
o To provide our services, communicating with you about our services, and/or comply with all legal and ethical obligations related to those services;
o To contact you and respond to your requests and inquiries;
o To communicate with you about open matters; and/or
o To carry out pre-contract activities and discussions with you as well as to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
· Marketing and Promotional Purposes:
o To send you relevant articles, newsletters, blog posts and alerts
o To send you information about webinars, programs and events that we think may be relevant to you; and/or
o To provide you with other information from and about the Firm, including personalized marketing communications.
· Provision of Site; Maintenance and Improvement:
o To provide you with and maintain the Site, its functionality and contents, and to assist you while you use it;
o To answer your questions and respond to your requests;
o To improve the Site and our services; and/or
o To help us diagnose technical and service problems and administer the Site.
· Recruiting Purposes: To evaluate, recruit, and hire personnel. Please note that where the information provided is sensitive (such as your ethnic background or your state of health) you expressly consent to our use of the information to assess your application and to allow us to carry out equal opportunities monitoring. You may also provide us with your email address to receive information on open positions with the Firm.
· Security, Fraud Prevention and Legal Purposes:
o To prevent fraud, theft and misconduct.
o To investigate, respond to and resolve complaints and/or copyright-related or privacy-related requests;
o To comply with our legal obligations, including reporting requirements; and/or
o To defend the Firm in and protect the Firm, property, and others through legal proceedings;
· Other legitimate interests: To meet and/or fulfill our other legitimate interests not described above. These include:
o To analyze use of our Site or services;
o To tailor Site content;
o To offer and manage programs and events;
o To full our obligations to our clients and others;
o To manage our client, partner, vendor and supplier relationships; and/or
o To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.
We may also use your personal information for any other purpose with your consent. Please see Section 6 (Your Choices) for more information on how you can withdraw your consent to such uses of your personal data that rely on consent as a legal basis to process at any time. Please be aware that you cannot opt out of receiving service messages from us, including security and legal notices.
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. Further, we may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide as described in this Privacy Policy:
· To related entities including subsidiaries and affiliates.
· To contractors, service providers, suppliers and other third parties to provide services for us and/or to do things on our behalf. For example, we will share information with a vendor who sends emails out for us, who hosts our Site, or who assists with providing technology and user assistance. These service providers may be located anywhere in the world.
· To other organizations involved in matters for our clients, including local counsel, accountants or auditors, administrators and technology service providers.
· To organizations who assist us or work alongside us in hosting or organizing events, programs or seminars.
· To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it based on your consent.
Additionally, we may also disclose your personal information:
· To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
· To enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Terms & Conditions, our Infringements Policy and/or other agreements, including for contractual, billing and collection purposes.
· If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm, our clients, or others.
If we do not process your personal information in accordance with our legitimate interest or based on a contractual obligations we have with you, we may share or disclose your personal information with your consent. We will not sell your personal information.
6. Your Choices
We have created certain mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:
· Privacy Requests: Under certain circumstances, subject to local law, you may have a right to the following: to request access to (and a copy of) the personal information we hold about you; to request that we erase your personal information; to request that we stop processing your personal information; where we previously obtained your consent, to withdraw consent to processing your personal information. Please be aware that the Firm may be unable to afford these rights to you under certain circumstances, such as if we are legally prevented from doing so. · Marketing Emails: If we have sent you a marketing email, you may opt-out via the “unsubscribe” link provided in the email. This opt out applies to marketing emails only and does not apply to other communications.

· California Privacy Rights: If you are a resident of California, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information. Please See Section 11 (Privacy Notice for California Residents) below for more information.
· EU and Outside the US: Please see Section 12 (Information for Those in the EU and Outside the US) below for more information.
7. Information Collection from Children
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (if you are located in the United States) and under the age of 16 (if you are located outside the United States). We do not knowingly collect information, including personal information, from children. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal information from someone under the applicable age listed above, we will promptly delete it. 8. Third-Party Services
The Site may be linked to, rely on and/or be integrated with third-party websites, applications, interfaces, services and/or platforms. You expressly acknowledge and agree that Firm is not responsible for the privacy practices of such websites, applications, interfaces, services and platforms operated by third parties that are linked to, rely on and/or integrated with the Site or for the privacy practices of third-party companies. Additionally, we are not responsible for protecting any information shared with a third-party through your use of the Site (e.g., a third-party social networking platform, third-party payment processors, etc.). You will be subject to the customs and policies of those third parties.
9. Effort to Protect Your Information
We have implemented commercially reasonable measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is never completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to the Site and/or otherwise. Any transmission of information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures.
10. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of the page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users' personal information, we may notify you. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting the Site and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
11. Privacy Notice for California Residents
This Section 11 (Privacy Notice for California Residents) applies to you only to the extent that you reside in the State of California and are a California resident. We adopt the notice set forth in this section to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this section. Section 1 (Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It) of this Privacy Policy describe in detail the information that we collect and how we collect it. However, for purposes of complying with the CCPA, below please find a list of the specific CCPA categories of personal information that we collect:
· Identifiers, such as name, email address, mailing address, phone number or IP address.
· Characteristics of protected classifications under California or Federal law, such as your gender and age.
· Commercial information, such as records of services and products purchased, obtained or considered.
· Internet or other similar network activity, such as browsing history and/or information regarding your interaction with the Site.
· Professional or employment related information, such as current or past job history.
· Personal information described in Cal. Civ. Code §1798.80(e), such as name, address, telephone number, education and employment history.
· Inferences drawn from any of the above.
We collect this information from you directly, indirectly as you navigate and/or interact with the Site, from third parties and/or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. We use these categories as described in Section 4 (How We Use Your Information) above, we disclose these categories of personal information for purposes as described in Section 5 (Disclosure of Your Information) above. We do not sell your personal information.
Under the CCPA, residents of California have the right to (subject to the applicable law) request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months including: categories of personal information that we collected and the sources of it; our business or commercial purposes for collecting that personal information; categories of third parties that we shared that personal information; and specific pieces of personal information that we collected. You also have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@lmoconsultinggroup.com and we will consider your request in accordance with applicable laws. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. Please note that some requests may require for us to verify your identity. We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. You may designate someone to submit requests and act on your behalf, but to do so, you must provide us with written permission to allow such authorized agent to act on your behalf. Please note that the CCPA temporarily exempts personal information reflecting a written or verbal business-to-business communication (“B2B personal information”) from some its requirements including the deletion, access and data portability rights described in this section and therefore, we do not provide these rights to B2B personal information.
Additionally, the CCPA requires us to disclose whether we sell your personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and because we do not sell personal information, we do not have an opt-out. Additionally, according to the CCPA, we cannot collect new categories of personal information or use it for materially different purposes without notifying you. We will only make changes to this Privacy Policy in accordance with Section 10 (Changes to Our Privacy Policy) above.
12. Information for Those in the EU and Outside the United States
You expressly acknowledge and agree that the Site is operated in the United States. If you are located in the EU or elsewhere outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. By using the Site, participating in any of our services, and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer. Further, you acknowledge and agree that we and our service providers may transfer your personal information to, or store or access it in, other countries where the laws may not provide levels of protection for your personal information equivalent the protection provided by the laws of the EU or elsewhere outside of the United States. We do this by using model contractual clauses that have been approved by the EU, your consent or other appropriate means.
